Nominations for the GRI Global Sustainability Standards Board (GSSB)

Candidates are invited to apply for membership on the GRI Global Sustainability Standards Board (GSSB).

GSSB member qualifications include, but are not limited to:
  • Practical knowledge and experience related to sustainability reporting and an understanding of its broader context
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Judicious decision-making
  • Awareness of the evolving sustainability reporting environment
  • Ability to work in a collegial atmosphere
  • Integrity, objectivity and discipline
  • Commitment to GRI's mission and the public interest

Applicants can be nominated by third parties or may self-nominate.
A nomination submission must include the following:
  • This Nomination Form
  • The latest version of the candidate's CV
  • The Employer Statement*
*Please upload this signed statement from the candidate’s employer/organization in which it is stated they agree with the candidate’s nomination to the GSSB and that as a GSSB member they will share their own professional knowledge and expertise and not to represent their employer’s/ organization’s perspective regarding GRI related matters.
Applicants may be asked to provide references on request.

Nominations received after the deadline will NOT be accepted.
Incomplete nominations will NOT be accepted.
Nominations sent to GRI via post or fax will NOT be considered.
