Nominations for the GRI Stakeholder Council

Applicants are invited to apply for membership on the GRI Stakeholder Council through self-nomination or nomination by a third party.
The ideal qualifications and experience of a Stakeholder Council member include, but are not limited to:

Demonstrated experience in sustainability, sustainable development, corporate responsiblity, public policy, or related fields relevant to GRI's mission
Strong understanding of global sustainability reporting trends and the evolving international sustainability disclosure landscape
Experience contributing strategic advice and stakeholder perspectives within multi-stakeholder or international environments
Commitment to advancing transparency, collaboration, and sustainable practices through a multi-stakeholder approach

A nomination submission must include the following

This Nomination form
Cover letter
The latest version of the nominee's CV
The Employer Statement, if the nominee is employed (not self-employed)*

*Please upload this signed statement from the applicant’s employer/organization confirming that they support the applicant’s nomination to the Stakeholder Council and acknowledge that, if appointed, as a Stakeholder Council, the applicant will contribute their own professional knowledge and expertise, and will not represent the the views or positions of their employer/ organization in matters related to GRI

Applicants may be asked to provide references on request.
Completed applications consisting of all the documents listed above must be submitted to GRI no later than Sunday 26 July 2026 23:59 CET.
